CHALLANDES, EDWARD A., 87, of the Heather, Brooksville, died Tuesday (May 2, 2000) at home. Born in New York City, he came here 22 years ago from New Windsor, N.Y. He was a salesman for King Industries, Port Richey, and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Spring Hill. He was a Coast Guard veteran. He was a member of the Heather Golf and Country Club, Weeki Wachee. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; a son, James E., Wilmington, Del.; three daughters, Carol A. King, Wilmington, Lorelei Depew, Newburgh, N..Y., and Judy Smith-Regalia, Wallkill, N.Y.; four stepchildren; 13 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
